The REACH Prep program consists of 12 years of rigorous preparation, individualized support, and close academic monitoring from the summer after 4th grade through college.

1 | Prep Academy

Grades 4 & 5

Our intensive, interdisciplinary 15-month academic enrichment program is designed to prepare students for admission into middle school at top independent schools.

Starting the summer after 4th grade, students have a full day of classes each day for six weeks over two summers as well as on Saturdays during their 5th grade year.

Students are taught in small class sizes led by independent school faculty.

Grade 5

During the fall of 5th grade, REACH Prep works closely with families to navigate the independent school admissions process.

REACH Prep provides individual guidance with school applications.

Students have multiple practice interviews to prepare for independent school interviews.

REACH Prep works with students as they prepare for the ISEE test.

We help families navigate the financial aid process.

REACH Prep works with each student from middle school through high school to provide personal guidance and academic support.

REACH Prep acts as a liaison with schools and parents.

We monitor students academically, socially and emotionally.

Students and their parents attend a variety of workshops along with individualized meetings.

We conduct regular check-ins and school visits with students.

REACH Prep provides students with access to community service opportunities.

Throughout

REACH Prep connects Scholars with a range of summer opportunities so they can explore areas of interest, develop skills, and create relationships. We collaborate with local, national and international organizations to provide transformative, and otherwise unobtainable, experiences for personal and academic growth.

Students can choose to attend a pre-collegiate immersion program that includes living and studying on college campuses.

REACH Prep works to ensure that each student has the best college options to achieve the goal of college completion. We provide supplementary and complementary support to enhance the excellent college guidance Scholars receive from their independent schools.

Students attend campus tours and admissions information sessions, both on-campus and virtually.
